Roald Dahl

Did you know that Roald Dahl, author of The BFG (Big Friendly Giant), James and The Giant peach and more, is of Norwegien heritage?  His mother and father, Sophie and Harald Dahl, raised him.  He was born on September 13, 1916 in Landaff, South Wales, and unforutnatley died November 23, 1990 in Oxford, England.  He was a writer for both children and adults, and is probably most famous for his book Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.  This book was so famous it was made into a movie and is commonly known as "Willy Wonka".  Roald Dahl is often called a master of story construction with a remarkable talent to weave a wonderful tale.
